Prelude: Team RWBY vs. Ninja Turtles, Part One

Abe: In battle, a warrior must learn to use all their skills and assets at their disposal to win; every weapon, skill, and experience they've attained must be used correctly to achieve victory. However, at times, a warrior is not alone. Sometimes, against great foes, a single man is not enough to win. What one needs is a team of valiant warriors, for strength in numbers is greater than the strength of one.

Insanus: And for this battle, we'll be pulling all stops and bringing in two of the best four-man and woman teams for our first team battle!

Abe: Team RWBY: the brightest students of Beacon Academy, dedicated to protecting the land of Vale from the monstrous Grimm!

Insanus: And the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: four brothers dedicated to the arts of ninjitsu to protect New York from the grip of the Shredder!

Abe: For the purposes of this fight, we will be utilizing the 2003 incarnations of the Ninja Turtles, as they are the closest in power to Team RWBY of all other incarnations, and while certain events may have occurred for them as of Vol. 3, rest assured we will not be having anything close to a breakup here. With that aside, I'm Madness Abe, he's my brother Insanus Abe,together we're here to analyze each fighter's weapons, armor, and skills to see who would win a Death Battle!.

(DISCLAIMER: Due to the sheer size of these bios, commentary will not be written for these bios as 1. it takes too much time and I'm too excited to write this fight, and 2. the saving time for these docs increases as I write, so I doubt I will be able to finish any commentary for all of it. -Jumped and ran along falling rubble as it fell in mid-air

-Survived a large freefall and getting hit into a tree by the thrown body of Jaune Arc

-Was hit with a watermelon-hammer to her face and walked back up no worse for wear 
-Takes a mass beating from both Roman Torchwick and Neopolitan, and still manages to get up and continue fighting

Skilled Scythe Fighter
-Heavily trained in the usage of Crescent Rose
-Trained by her uncle Qrow Branen, who uses a similarly designed scythe 
-Capable of using its length and power in expert ways, such as clearing armies of Beowulves in rapid spins and swipes
-Utilizes the recoil of the weapon to increase her mobility, and the strength/speed of her attacks
-Skilled enough to fight even while wearing a dress and high heels, which she despises and is not normally skilled in 
Leadership
-As the leader of Team RWBY, required and learned this
-Quickly formulated a plan of strategy against the Nevermore, and likely planned their team attacks
-Can adjust to play off her team's strengths, skills, and powers in conjunction with one another 
Attentiveness
-Was able to spot Emerald amidst a crowd in the arena in short time
-Upon noticing the button on Neo's umbrella, used it to her advantage by pressing it and letting her fly off the ship they were on

-Recoil is heavy, though Ruby utilizes it for mobility by propelling herself across distances or send herself up higher altitudes
-Recoil can also be used to increase the speed and strength of its strikes, and she can impale the scythe into the ground to absorb the recoil when using it to snipe from a distance

-Specialized magazine clip for Crescent Rose
-Have much greater power than the usual rounds Crescent Rose uses
-Increase Ruby's speed and power when in use


Semblance
-Nicknamed "Speed"
-Increases Ruby's speed to move at blinding speeds that almost resemble teleports 
-Used for rapid speedblitzing attacks, disorienting enemies, or making hasty retreats followed by counterattacks 
-Creates a vortex when used that can carry off several items in the ensuing winds

*Fire Dust: Produces a fire effect, such as firing streams of fire or fireballs
*Ice Dust: Produces an ice effect, such as creating ice crystals or a sheet of ice. When used in conjuction with her glyphs, can form the ice into different structures, such as ice bullets (with Ruby's help), ice shields, or an ice sword
*Electric Dust: Produces an electrical effect, such as firing streaks of lightning 
 *Wind Dust: Produces a wind effect, such as firing blasts of wind 


Semblance
-Hereditary Semblance of the Schnee Family
-Allows Weiss to summon and form large glyphs of energy with different effects
-Can be formed either on solid surfaces or in the air 
-Can control motion with these glyphs and are utilized for propelling herself across distances or extering a push/pull-effect on objects

-Can make these glyphs solid to either serve as jumping platforms or defensive shields

-A variant, called Time Dilation, allows her to increase her own speed and reaction time for a brief period of time 

-A recent variant, called Summoning, allows her to summon copies of previously defeated enemies to her side. While she has yet to fully master it, she has been recently able to summon up the arm and sword of the Giant Armor.

Quick-Thinker and Intelligence
-When knocked by the Nevermore into a chasm, quickly converted Gambol Shroud's kusarigama-mode into a grappling hook to pull herself back up, and simultaneously to swing at the Nevermore for another attack
-Passed Beacon Academy's entrance exam with flying colors, in spite of never having previously been in a combat school 
-Often utilizes her clones as traps to distract or lure her foes to them

Gambol Shroud 
-Variant Ballistic Chain Scythe 
-Hybrid of a katana, kusarigama (chain scythe), and a pistol
-Sheath is just as durable and sharp as the sword, and can be utilized with it as a second blade
-Pistol can be used to increase the speed and strength of sword strikes and swings
-Keeps a black ribbon/cable attached to her arm to tie onto Gambol Shroud, turning it into a kusarigami and utilized as a grappling hook, slingshot, or a weapon
-Holds several Dust cartidges within for use in battle, much like that of Weiss' Myrtenaster 


Semblance
-Nicknamed "Shadow"
-Allows Blake to create shadow clones of herself 
-Can be used as brief allies, distractions, shields to take blows, or as platforms to jump off from
-While solid, they can be destroyed if hit with sufficient force or if they move too far from Blake
-Initially after-images, they have slowly evolved into acting like Blake to be more convincing 
-Usage of Dust cartridges within Gambol Shroud allows for the creation of unique clones:
*Fire Dust: Turns Blake's clone into an explosive fire bomb 
*Earth Dust: Turns Blake's clone into a stone statue, used for defensive and offensive use
*Ice Dust: Turns Blake's clone into an ice statue, used to trap enemy weapons or body parts in it at the right moment
*Violet Dust: Turns Blake's clone into a dark haze, lingering longer than most clones and being able to obscure the vision of her foes 


Weaknesses 
Aura, and by extension Semblance, is limited and can run out in battle 
Often prefers to fight solo and will sometimes leave her team to do this
Stubborn and will abandon plans and strategy when sufficiently frustrated
Will easily stress herself if sufficiently obsessed or driven enough 
Gambol Shroud is a complex weapon needing much concentration, allowing Blake to be open for attack at times 
Clones do not last for long amounts of time 


Yang Xiao Long 
AKA: Blondie, Firecracker

Defeated all of Junior's henchmen, the Malachite Sisters, and Junior himself, causing mass destruction of his nightclub

-Jumped and ran along falling rubble as it fell in mid-air 
-Rapidly took down a group of grunts in rapid time 
-Fast enough to dodge automatic gunfire 
-Able to keep up with the Malachite sisters, who are fast enough to dodge Ember Celica's rounds, and ultimately win 
-Fast enough to dodge and shoot down multiple missiles 
-Evaded attacks from two Ursas at once
-Rapidly punched several melons fired at her at high speeds 
-Fast enough to evade the rapid kicks of Mercury Black

Durability 
-Ever after being hit with a club and smashed through several glass tables, got back up just fine
-Knocked through the roof of Beacon's cafeteria by Nora Valkyrie, sent roaring through several feet as a result, and fell back down just fine minutes later
-No sold an energy blast from the Paladin
-Recovered quickly from being punched through a concrete pillar and being kicked by the Paladin 
-Takes multiple beatings from the far faster Neon Katt, including getting smashed into a wall so hard that it cracks
-Goes through being bombarded with sonic waves to be able to hit Flynt Coal, and succeeds
-Gets right back up after being hit with several of Mercury's projectiles and kicked into the floor 
-Survived having her right arm cut off 

Skills

Skilled Fighter 
-Utilizes a hybrid style of boxing, kickboxing, and brawling
-Strikes with quick, but hard-hitting punches and strikes 
-Hardly utilizes kicks at all, but will do so in time of need

-Owns and riders her motorcycle, Bumblebee, on occasion and with expert skill
-Skilled enough to ride it through busy traffic, dodging thrown cars, and in battle against the Atlesian Paladin

Ember Celica 
-Dual Ranged Shot Gauntlets 
-Hybrid of arm guards/gauntlets with shotguns
-Holds chambers that holster shell magazines 
-12 shells in each gauntlet, for a total of 24 
-Greatly increase Yang's strength even further

Bumblebee 
-Yang's personal motorcycle 
-Most likely a sports bike, as design emphasizes on speed and aerodynamics

-Is fast enough to outspeed cars and match the Atlesian Paladin's running speed
*The Atlesian Paladin was fast enough to catch up to both Blake Belladonna and Sun Wukong, who are remarkably fast
-Lacks a kickstand, yet can somehow still park 


Semblance
-Allows Yang to absorb damage dealt to her from her opponent
-After this, she can redirect the damage right back to her opponent, effectively making her stronger with each blow she takes
-Can release absorbed energy into herself in a "super mode" of sorts that increases her stats to higher levels, and can even be done twice if needed 
-When in use, Yang's hair begins to glow immensely while her eye color turns to red 


Weaknesses 
Aura, and by extension Semblance, is limited and can run out in battle 
Cannot take too much damage, as it will overload her Semblance
More than a bit headstrong, often charging into battle 
Can get enraged easily 
Not well against agile opponents, who can exhaust her over time
